Garrison Crest

Our property has the capability and the flexibility to create the perfect outdoor gathering for a wedding, a welcome party, dinner, brunch and intimate ceremony. 

            In 2018, I had this great idea, to have weddings here. It would in turn, complete a dream Ive had. Often, I like to freelance with vendors, including lighting designers, florists. I do my own installation decor and any opportunity to design a display, exhibition or a unique ceiling, really is no work for me.  it goes back to my time in stage design.  Its rewarding to be a part of something and not be a competition, I like to incorporate those I work with because they add who they are to this magical place.

When I first saw the gate, I was drawn in and maybe it was even before that, as I drove down the path. It was a childhood film in the 1980's, The Secret Garden, that I immediately saw the connection with. I believe Its within my work and story that may have something to do with why Im here, why I design, manage gardens and bring things to life. I also live here.

 

Its said to be the best view in Garrison. I believe because it is the light.

Theres something about the light here and whenever I get a chance, I get out my camera. From every river sunset to seasonal gardens, meadows and spacious outdoor entertaining spaces; there's no place this versatile, its rustic elegance. comfortable and laid back style. Its not for everyone. It has its own vibe.

       We don't just have weddings, there are events and photo shoots, painting on the nook. We have customizable options. Every week I work on new ideas, Im a classic builder type and it all allows myself, the introvert extrovert, just to do what I love. I keep a fresh perspective on what couples  might like and add to designing their day.

       Its a fact, that I'm a multi-creative!  I'm ambitious and genuine about ideas and making dreams happen. You may have just come to the right place if youre looking to make your day or weekend inclusive and taken care of.  What if we could make what you imagine possible?  

Your wedding day can truly be about you, about good food, great company , a memorable set up and the evening sunset on the river. All we need is a conversation, a visit and visualize with me the tables on the lawn and all the individual spaces to create. 

 

Because we are a private residence, we don't host many events.
